Keynote Address: The Basics of, “Being in the Right Place at the Right Time with the Right Talents”

Daniel Lewis will talk about his life as a dancer, choreographer and administrator while working with José Limón, Anna Sokolow, Martha Hill, The Juilliard School and New World School of the Arts.

Tango Social Dance

Diego and Ana will take you through the early developments of Tangos social dance and the music and cultures that influence it's golden age in the ballrooms of Paris & Buenos Aires, to the vibrant subculture that exist today all around the world. Come dance, see and hear about the transformation of Argentine Tango and it's impact.

“Love your Feet” with Mona Baker

It's a workshop for dance educators to learn a new conversation with your feet through articulating, releasing and aligning fourteen toe joints to become pain free and dance with loving your feet!

Building Functional Capacity for Dance

Do you want more stamina, muscle endurance, strength, and jumping power for your dancers? Helping dancers build the functional capacity to embody your choreography is not a one-size-fits-all approach. This session will reveal easy-to-use studio-based assessments that can help you discover and enhance your dancers' capacities. The session will also offer tips on integrating elements to boost dancer self-perception with positive psychology.
