Call for Nominations for the FDEO Awards 2009

The Florida Dance Education Organization seeks nominations of individuals and organizations that have made a substantial impact on the development of dance education in the schools and communities of Florida.  Take a moment to recognize the people and programs that have worked to create the rich, thriving dance environment that serves all ages and abilities.  Awardees will be honored guests at the FDEO Conference Luncheon on October 23, 2009 in Boca Raton, Florida. The nominator must be an FDEO/NDEO member in good standing.  Nomination narratives should be between 200 and 500 words.

The categories include:

Dance Educator - K-12

Dance Educator - Higher Education

Dance Educator – Private Sector

Emerging Leader

Visionary Leader

Lifetime Achievement

Outstanding School or Program, K-12

Outstanding School or Program, Private Sector

Outstanding School or Program, Post-Secondary-Higher Education, Adult
